Privacy Statement
Streamlogic's Products and Your Privacy
With respect to Streamlogic's technology and products, Streamlogic makes every
endeavor to ensure that all of our products enable our customers to protect
the privacy of their end-users. However, it is the responsibility of Streamlogic
customers and partners to implement their Streamlogic systems in such a way as
to ensure the security of end-user information.
As a standard, Streamlogic products do not require users to enter any personal
information to operate the products. In some deployments users can be requested
to enter personal information such as an e-mail address. Streamlogic's products
themselves do not treat this information differently from any other. Streamlogic's
products do not require any information they process to be made public or
otherwise disclosed, and do not take any steps to make public or otherwise
disclose this information. Therefore, the protection of private information
processed by Streamlogic's products is the responsibility of the deployers of
these products.
Streamlogic's Web Site
This policy only addresses our activities from our servers. Other Web
sites (including those that we link to and third party Web sites or services
that we co-brand) may have their own policies, which we do not control, and
thus are not addressed by this policy.
This site uses "cookie" technology so that we can improve the experience
of visiting our Web site. Also, Streamlogic tracks the Internet address of the
domains from which visitors are coming and uses this data for statistics
and analysis on the levels of success of our Web programs, but the names
of the visitors remain anonymous.
This site contains demonstrations of our technology. These demonstrations
may require users to supply an e-mail address and may encourage users to supply
information that may be private and personally identifiable, or could be used
to infer private and personally identifiable information. Streamlogic may use this
information to perform statistical analysis and problem investigation. However,
Streamlogic does not release such information, and has no plan to do so in the
future.
The names and contact information of persons who request information about
Streamlogic, its subsidiaries, its products and/or its services are added to our
data base in the United States so that they may be contacted in the future
regarding Streamlogic's products, services or future opportunities. This contact
may occur by e-mail, telephone or mail, as Streamlogic deems appropriate. Streamlogic
does not sell or rent any information about visitors, and has no plan to do
so in the future.
We may on occasion disclose such information to third parties that wish
to inform you of or provide to you certain products and services related
to Streamlogic solutions. You should understand that personally identifiable
information disclosed by us to third parties as well as personally identifiable
information disclosed by you to third parties will be used according to such
third parties' privacy policies, and that Streamlogic can have little control over
this information.
If you give Streamlogic your contact information over this Web site, and you
wish to have your name removed from Streamlogic's database, please write Streamlogic
at our offices in Silicon Valley, California, call 650-949-5750, or e-mail
Streamlogic's webmaster at webmaster@streamlogic.com.
We use industry-standard efforts to safeguard the confidentiality of your
personally identifiable information as well as we do our own, such as firewalls
and secure socket layers where appropriate. However, "perfect security" does
not exist on the Internet.
You acknowledge that acceptance of this privacy policy, as updated from
time to time at this location, is a condition of your use of our Web site
and you agree to be bound by all of its terms and conditions.
If you have any questions regarding our policies please e-mail Streamlogic's
web-master at webmaster@streamlogic.com.
