Background
In this demonstration, the Colexion engine is used to help end-users build a more effective search query by suggesting keywords and categories related to the keywords entered by the user. Colexion learns categories and their associated keywords by analyzing a training feed to form a Knowledge Base. In this demo, the WEB Knowledge Base was generated from Open Directory Project; ODP directories form the categories and the site descriptions are the texts that were analyzed for keywords. The NEWS Knowledge Base was generated from a month's worth of stories from various European and American news wires.
